It's been a while, but I'm planning new things for this store. Currently working on a design/logo mini-makeover and planning to add new products to the shops over the next couple months. If you're interested and willing, I will be going to LeakyCon in August and I would be grateful if people wanted to order from my shops to help me pay for my flight/hotel. I've included the giant post that I had posted on tumblr:

I Have A Second Shop!
Friday, February 4, 2011Hey everybody,
I've got some sort of exciting news! If you haven't already heard, I've opened a new shop on Etsy! It's called Felt Pretty Today and it has all kinds of felt products and creations that I hand-make. Each item is cut, sewn, and stuffed by hand, so each piece has its own touch of uniqueness. There are only a few items listed so far, but plenty more are coming soon. Since the shop is just getting started, most of the ways to find out about it and contact me are limited, but there is now a Twitter, a blog (click the title of this post), and a Tumblr, all of which are pretty bare. There is also a Facebook page and of course there is always the shop itself. (List of links below)

New News for the New Year!
Tuesday, January 4, 2011Hey guys!
I've got a bunch of stuff to talk about now that the holiday event has ended. This post will cover the website, new products being planned, and some other promotional information I am working on.
First, I'll talk about the plans for the website. My boyfriend, and best friend, has agreed to help me create a better looking site during his down time. We will be revamping the whole site, but luckily this will be done offline and will not affect the viewing or purchasing of items in the web store. We are working towards making it more of a PayPal oriented store. It will not look like the store does now, but it should be a bit more user-friendly and easy to figure out.
Second, as you may or may not have noticed, I have been posting a lot more new items to the Etsy shop. I've preferred to use the Etsy shop while I attempt to make the changes to the shop. I've been mostly posting the bottle cap earrings that happen to be pre-made and kept in stock at my mom's office, but I've also been adding items that have never been in the web store like the previously mentioned Deathly Hallows necklace, and the shrinky dink Twitter bird earrings. There are also the bottle cap pins and key chains that I had talked about and one completely new item, the felt cloud with falling stars. There are still more new items to come including some possible sewing projects, new bracelets to be kept in stock, and some papercrafts since I have recently come to own my first Cricut machine. I am still working on a few new art projects to sell, as well.
Third, there will definitely be some more promotions including a raffle, more coupon codes, and special sales. I will be coming up with a way to allow you to purchase the tickets for the raffle. Every purchaser will automatically receive a 10% off coupon for the Etsy shop. There will be four 25% off coupons, one 50% off coupon, 2 non-painted bottle cap pins of the winner's choosing, 2 non-painted bottle cap keychains of the winner's choosing, and a prize basket for one grand prize winner. In total, there will be 10 chances to win. The further details about the raffle will come in a later post when I have more of it figured out. As for more coupon codes, there will be ones for upcoming holidays, such as Valentine's day, St. Patrick's day, Easter, etc. My 100th customer, this won't necessarily be an Etsy customer, will recieve a special deal as well. If things start to pick up, I will most likely do birthday and thank you specials. There may also be some surprise sales in the Etsy shop, so be on the lookout.
Finally, I'd also like to do some affiliating. If there is anybody out there who has a web store or Etsy shop that would like to do some advertise-for-advertise with me, send me an e-mail at 3eyegraphics@gmail.com or message me at any of the other sites listed in the side bar. Don't forget, the best way to stay updated on the shop and what I'm up to, is to get connected. Follow the blog, Twitter, Tumblr, and Facebook page.

Holiday Specials!
Tuesday, November 30, 2010 To get in the Holiday Spirit, I'm announcing opportunities to save in the Etsy store throughout December! All of December, I've decided to do special Holiday coupons. These coupons will be one day only, lasting from 12:00AM PST to 11:59PM PST that day. There are three places to save where the coupon codes will be released on certain days: Tumblr Tuesdays, Twitter Thursdays, and Facebook Fridays! Follow us in all these places for maximum savings! (Links on the sidebar.) These coupons will only be good for the Etsy shop, since the web store is going through some revamping.
Harry Potter Themes and Commissions
Monday, November 8, 2010Seeing as how the final Harry Potter movie (or Part 1 of it, at least) will be coming out soon, I've been very vocal about all the fun Harry Potter themed items I've been making and buying. This has led me to make a Deathly Hallows symbol necklace which is for sale on Etsy. I only have one and it only comes in red with a gold symbol on a silver chain. I am also working on a Harry Potter bracelet for myself which has led to me agreeing to some commissions. I will be attempting to finish them all by the movie, but there are no promises and the customers are okay with this. If you would like me to take on a commission for you, just let me know. I can do names and I will be posting the images of other themed bracelet patterns I can do. I currently have two Harry Potter ones (Ravenclaw and the Dark Mark) and a Tinkerbell one for commission. Commissioned bracelets will probably range from $5-$8 depending on the time and amount of string used, but this is subject to change. Also, if you are interested in a Harry Potter bracelet, just remember that Part 2 will still not be out until July of next year. :)
Commissions: Please know your wrist size and order AT LEAST 3 weeks in advance to help ensure that it is done in time for whatever you are wanting it for. This means that Christmas cut-off is December 3rd. However, if my work or school schedule gets more hectic, or if I have several bracelets to complete by a certain time, there may be a slight delay. I will go in the order in which the requests are received, to be fair. If it is a present, I will also be adding an "add a note" feature, which will be a small card that has the recipient's name, the giver's name and whatever message you'd like to put in it, under 250 characters.
